This year, as during every previous Alamance Reads, we could not have done it without the support of the sponsors and the tireless work of our volunteers. We have tried not to miss anyone that has played a part so far, but we know we will be updating this list until the final song is played at our Finale. We take great pride and pleasure in thanking the following people/organizations:

The Friends of the Alamance County Public Libraries, who this year gave not only of their treasury but also with such a huge turnout of the Friends board members and regular members participating as volunteers.

The Alamance County Arts Council for the advertising partnership and for working with us to qualify for, and obtain, a Grassroots Grants from the NC Arts Council that will enable us to make The Pleasure of Art Extravaganza (see calendar on 1/22/11) be an event to be remembered.

Our Book Selection Committee who tirelessly and with many bloodshot eyes, read through more books than imaginable to make the really tough decision about what "the book" would be this time.
